Supplybase.source, a new product offered by Supplybase, Inc., provides strategic sourcing and supplier management solutions. In order to communicate the product's feature set and value proposition, Supplybase, Inc. required an HTML based demonstration tool which would be easy to use and would require no plugins. The demo itself would serve as an "in the field" sales tool, an online application tutorial to increase awareness and drive users, and as press traction in meetings and online phone pitches. Although the demonstration follows a linear progression, a slide timeline based upon one of Supplybase's key branding elements serves as a means of jumping from one slide to another.

The key element of the demonstration interface is a screen capture taken from the product itself. Each of the various screen captures contain active areas which react to the user's mouse position. As the user moves the mouse cursor over selected elements of the product interface (shown in the screen capture), the element is outlined and a description of the associated product feature appears in the blue feature description box.
